Sporting Equals
The Jaguar Academy of Sport works in Partnership with Sporting Equals, an independent, not-for-profit organisation who are working to encourage and inspire the next generation of star performers, leaders, coaches and volunteers from black and minority ethnic communities.
Sporting Equals exists to actively promote greater involvement by all communities that are disengaged in sport and physical activity.
Their objective is to change attitudes and increase participation be it to play for fun, compete, volunteer or gain employment.
They are an independent organisation who are specialists in equality and diversity and for over a decade, have been the primary driver and funding channel for national and regional programmes in this field.
As a national partner of Sport England, they have partnership agreements and affiliations with the leading sports national governing bodies including the FA, ECB, ASA and British Cycling.
Sporting Equals have also have partnerships with the following professional football clubs West Bromwich Albion, Tottenham Hotspur, and QPR.
The SE Future Champions programme is in place to support the development of elite talent, in order for them to have a greater chance of success.
