SportsAid Selection Process
The regional academy structure nurtures talented players at age group level, of which the most promising players are handpicked and nominated. This feeds into the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Elite Player Development Programme, which targets players from Senior to U19 level. These players then become centrally contracted and funded by the ECB.
