Athlete Resume

Alistair is a former professional footballer. He was involved in a car accident in 2006 that caused severe brain injuries resulting in him giving up the game altogether. Having been told he would not walk again, he has surprised everyone by being talent spotted for the England and Great Britain CP Football Team just four years later. The striker made a real impact at the World Championships in Holland in June, scoring the first English goal of the tournament against Korea. Alistair then went on to score against Japan in the third round of the Championships. Alistair and the rest of the England team continue to attend regular training camps at Lillishall in Shropshire.
