Athlete Resume
Charley has been boxing since the age of nine and is the current National and European champion at under 16 level. She retained her Junior ABA title and won the Women's Youth and Junior European Championships in France in October last year.
Most recently Charley won a silver medal in the inaugural AIBA Women's Junior and Youth World Boxing Championships in Antalya, Turkey. She overcame two high quality opponents on her way to losing the 57kg final (the first loss of her career) to Ornella Waher of Germany 16:9. She is now targeting the transition up the senior division and a place on Team GB in time for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
