Athlete Resume

James first tried javelin at sports day in year 7 and broke the school record. The following year he won his District Schools trials and was invited to train at his local club. He picked up the bronze at his first English Schools Championships in 2002 and has won countless title since then on his rise to becoming a senior international.

James is the current Scottish record holder at U17, U20 and Senior levels and is current British number one. Last year he won the UK Championships, U23 Open Championships, BUCS Championships and finished 6th in the Commonwealth Games final in India.
