Athlete Resume
Katy first got involved with British Freestyle Wrestling in 2007, when she went to watch her younger brother at their local club (Middleton and Wirksworth Wrestling Club). She now has club training on Monday and Wednesday evenings, gym sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays and attends British Wrestling Academy training on Saturdays.
Her aims for this year are to retain her place on the British Talent Squad and in the longer term Katy will be targeting the British Open title and to compete at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Katy continues to improve and is having success both on a national and international level. With experience and hard work her national governing body, British Wrestling, expect her to achieve her aims.
