Athlete Resume
Keira started cycling with local cycling club, Kings Cliffe Flyers, from the age of 12 and enjoyed the odd time trial and go-ride session. She has come from being a relative unknown cyclist to becoming a member of the British Cycling Talent Team within the last year. She showed strong performances on the road last season which earned her this place and is showing the kind of potential that could see her represent GB in future years on the road or the track.
She recently won the silver medal at the National Cyclo-Cross Championships in Derby which follows her fantastic ride in the GHS National Ten-Mile Time Trial Championships last year. Past winners of this event include Chris Boardman, Steve Cummings and Nicole Cooke. Next on the agenda for Keira will be the national championships on the track and road.
