Athlete Resume
Leanne started playing table tennis at the age of 12. She received her first GB vest at 15 at the Irish Open where she beat the World No8. She is now a member of the GB Paralympic training group for 2012 based in Sheffield. She has few opportunities to compete against players in her classification Wheelchair Women class 3 so she enters able-bodied events. She is ranked number six in the UK in the senior age group.
In the last year she has competed in Romania, Italy, Slovenia and Spain and represented Team England at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi finishing fifth in the singles.
