How did you first get involved in your sport?

I first got involved when I was 10 and it was all because of my sister. She wanted to start boxing so I thought I would join with her, she lasted 2 weeks and I carried on from there.

What does a typical week look like for you?

My typical week is going to school Monday to Friday 8.30am-2.30pm then I train Monday, Wednesday and Friday with the training sessions lasting 1 1/2 hours. On Sundays I train for 2 hours. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I run at home and then in between all that I try and fit in my social life and spend time with my friends.

What do you enjoy the most about being a sportsperson?

Travelling to places where I wouldn't normally go such as Sweden.

What are your targets for the next 12 months?

My target for the next twelve months is to retain No1 position by winning the National Championships again, go to the Junior Europeans next year and also go to Sweden in January.

What are your long term aims?

As long term aims I would love to go to the 2016 Olympics when I am old enough and also go into a major competition such as the World Championships.

Who is the most influential person in your life?

My mum because she has supported me from day one and has never stopped believing in me.

Who is your sporting hero?

My sporting hero is Amir Khan because one day I would love to box like him because he is really fast.
